The idea for Teuntje came after a visit to the petting zoo. And once an idea is in my head, it has to be executed. How often I wished I’d never been to that petting zoo! It took me many evenings before I was finally satisfied with Teuntje’s feather headdress. I tried the most complicated stitches and techniques to finally arrive at a very simple pattern. It just goes to show: simple is often the most beautiful!
